Children’s Miracle Network!!!
At Phi Mu, our commitment to service is deeply rooted in the meaning of our creed: “to lend to those less fortunate a helping hand.” We are proud to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of Alabama, a cause close to our hearts and central to our sisterhood’s mission. Every dollar we raise helps provide critical care, life-saving equipment, and support to children and their families right here in our community.
In 2024, our chapter raised an incredible $35,343 in support of CMN Hospitals. This achievement reflects the passion and dedication of our sisters and the generous spirit of our supporters.
Through every event and every dollar raised, we honor our commitment to making miracles happen.
A Letter From Our Philanthropy Chairwoman!
Hey y'all! My name is Dana Bayne, and I have the honoring of serving as philanthropy chairwoman this year. Our philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network, holds such a special place in my heart. Growing up in Birmingham, Children's was always there for my sister and I when we were sick or hurt. The nurses, doctors, and staff made sure we were taken care of and always served with a smile on their face. It truly is a full circle moment to give back and make a positive impact to this hospital!
In the spring, I was able to plan my first philanthropy event for our chapter. It was "Cookout for Kids" where our chapter raised money for CMN by selling tickets to the local community to come to the Phi Mu house and eat Hooks BBQ on our lawn! We had such a great turn out, and everyone left feeling happy and fulfilled. This past April, our chapter also had the privilege of touring Children's Miracle Network in Birmingham, AL. It was a great opportunity for my sisters and I to see how much of an impact our fundraising efforts truly had on this great organization. I look forward to this year and serving not only our chapter, but the kids at CMN!
